The first ADK Jeep Invasion was held in Lake George, NY this past weekend. As a new event held by the same crew that puts on NJ Jeep Invasion in Wildwood, NJ, it was definitely a great change of pace. The beautiful mountains provided an amazing background for this event. Being a new event and its first year, the turn out wasn't bad at all! Everywhere you drove there were Jeeps. Maybe only 3 or 4 other XJ's but at least it was something! The event itself was held at 1000 Acres Ranch with trails of all kinds. The Vender Area served as a nice spot to meet up with everyone after hitting the trials. On Saturday night, the Show & Shine portion of the even was held in one of the parks in the center of town with only the first 100 Jeeps who signed up allowed to participate. Jeeps from all kinds were in attendance. Classic clean YJs, all the way to the new JT's. It was a good atmosphere with everyone around with a chance to show off the Jeeps to those traveling around. Wood Hounds Off Road took home two trophies with the 1998 Jeep Cherokees. We are already excited for next year and can't wait to see what they have in store for this new event!
